featuring Richard Russo, beloved novelist 

and winner of the Pulitzer Prize for his novel Empire Falls

We are excited to announce this fundraising event with Richard Russo, which is an evening with Richard speaking and reading from one of his latest books.  He will also do a book signing afterwards (the number of books he will sign per person may be limited).  

Included in the basic ticket price is desserts, beverages, cash bar and musical entertainment by The String Connection.  All of this event is to support the operations and programs of the Marion Public Library. 

Our general admission ticket is $40, including the entertainment listed above.  These tickets are available by pre-purchasing or at the door.

Our exclusive social hour event with the author ticket is before the main event.  It is a very limited ticket and is $75/person or $125/2 people.  There will be heavy appetizers, a cash bar and Richard will be mingling with these ticket holders in the room. It includes the general admission event also.  We will not be selling these tickets at the door and they sell out quickly.  

You can buy copies of some of his books at the BookMarket or the Library front desk, starting October 9.   If you pre-purchase your books you are given an earlier line number for the signing. We will also be selling these at the event, taking cash, check or credit cards. Profits from these sales go again to support the Marion Public Library.  

Tickets will be on sale at the library's front desk and  the BookMarket (cash, check and credit cards accepted) and at our secure online website.  Payment must be received before the event for social hour tickets.
